Wow! What a great evening we had at our October Dinner
Meeting. Nobles and Ladies I want to Thank You all for your donations
and hard work for getting the wheelchair for 11 year old Alex
Arriaga. After presenting the chair to him and seeing that smile from
ear to ear, I got that feeling every Shriner gets from helping a child.
Our next Dinner Meeting will be on Tuesday November 6, 2007.
Menu for the evening will be Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy,
Cranberry Sauce, Veggies, Yams, Salad, Rolls, Coffee and Dessert. All
for the price of $17.00 per person.
Social hour is at 6:00 p.m. Dinner is at 7:00 p.m. and the
Meeting is at 8:00 p.m. There will be a raffle after the meeting. For

DEADLINE FOR RESERVATIONS IS THURSDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2007.
As you know, this is election night for new officers for the
2008 year. We need a 2nd Vice President and 2 Board Members. If
you know of a Noble who would like to become a Board Member

or 2nd VP, please let Noble Al Jensen, George Edwards or Ron
Fine know as they are the nominating committee. So far the following
Nobles have expressed interest in these positions: Skip Metzger, Carey
James, Chuck Loney.
Sunshine Committee report: Noble Chuck Anway is doing better
but has to go back in for more minor surgery in late October, Noble Garrit
Kuiken had throat surgery and is doing really well now, Noble Warren
Stewart Jr. is still at Bellingham Health Care and Rehab Rm #17, Noble Bill
Taylor was in San Francisco Hospital to get checked out for surgery coming
up in late November; he informed me that his medical records are being sent
to a place in Australia, where they will build the special stent he
needs. This operation has only been preformed 36 times with a 98% success
rate. Please keep these Nobles in your thoughts and prayers. I
want to Thank Lady Connie Livermore for her donation of greeting cards.

Happy Birthday to Noble Bill Follis on September 27,
2007. Remember to vote on November 6, 2007. Wishing you all a
Happy Thanksgiving.
