From the Desk
of the Editor.
Personally I love being
part of the Valley
of Bellingham. I had the pleasure of being part of
conferring the 14° on January 24th on Tim Springstead, 17° and
Russ Weston, 17°. They are now 17°
Masons because we also communicated the 15th through the 17th
degrees that evening. It was a pleasant evening of Brothers learning more
about what it is to be a Mason.
I love the fellowship
that Masonry can deliver. All of us need
the positive influences that Masonry can deliver in our life.
The Valley has the desire
to add more degree presentations in MS PowerPoint. If you like to work on photographing
lodge room scenes for the degrees or on putting degrees on PowerPoint let
the Degree Director Jim Moen know.
Adding scenes,
photographs, graphics, and the text of the degree to a PowerPoint slide
show that is projected in large format in the Lodge Room not only gives the
degree a better flow and eliminates the cast members searching through
degree books for their places and the next sentence, it lets the candidates
see the text and burns the degree in their memory.
